I've just booked tickets for next year and it will be my first time going. I'll be in the viewing garden and as this is all new to me, was wondering if you could give me some insight based on the gear I'll be taking? I'll be using Canon 7D Mark ii and will be bringing 100-400mm ii, and also 500mm f4 ii My question is, based on this area, do you think I'd be using the 500mm more, or the 100-400 to fit more in? I don't have a second camera body for quick switching sadly. I also have a 1.4x ii TC which could be attached to the 500mm if distance will still be an issue. What do you think will be used most so I don't have to keep worrying about constantly swapping and potentially missing good shots? Thank you in advance

The other day, I boarded the Peach (MM/JJP) neo. I liked the unexpectedly beaty startup sound and high-pitched spool-up sound.

I can see the attraction of the howl, but personally I've never been that fond of it, To me it feels like the engine is struggling to breathe (I know it's not). That said, I do love the Vulcan. I remember seeing them at airshows in days gone by, and wondering how it seemed so big and slow and graceful and still stayed in the air. And what it did in the Falklands was legendary.
